2. Information You Enter in the App
The app lets you enter height and weight to calculate an estimated body mass index (BMI). If you save entries, the app may store:
- Height in centimeters
- Weight in kilograms
- BMI result and weight category
- Saved weight entries with dates
3. Local Storage
Saved weight entries are stored locally on your device. The app does not require an account and does not claim to provide cloud sync. You can clear saved weight history from the app settings or remove local app data by deleting the app from your device.
4. Analytics and Product Improvement
The app may use analytics tools such as PostHog to understand app usage, diagnose issues, and improve the product. Analytics events are intended to avoid sensitive personal information such as exact height, weight, BMI values, Apple ID, email address, or medical diagnoses.
5. Purchases and Premium Access
BMI Calc – Weight Tracker uses RevenueCat to manage Apple In-App Purchase status and premium access. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your credit card, bank account, or Apple ID payment details.
6. Attribution and Advertising Measurement
If attribution tools such as the Meta SDK are configured, they may be used to measure campaign performance and app install attribution, subject to your device settings and any required consent prompts.
7. Health Disclaimer
BMI is a simple estimate based on height and weight. It does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The app does not provide medical diagnoses.
